2. The short version

We keep it minimal. We use a cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics service to count visits and page views (see section 5). While we run advertising campaigns, the Meta Pixel and the Google Ads tag additionally measure whether our ads lead to inquiries (see section 6); they are the only components on this site that set cookies. Beyond that, personal data is processed only when you provide it to us, in the contact form or by email, and through the technically necessary server logs of our hosting provider.

3. Contact form and email

When you use the contact form, we process the data you enter (name, email address, and optionally company, shop URL and your message) in order to handle your inquiry and any pre-contractual steps that follow from it. This data is stored in a database operated for us by Supabase Inc. (970 Toa Payoh North #07-04, Singapore) on infrastructure in the USA. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries). We delete this data once your inquiry is fully handled, unless statutory retention obligations require longer storage.

4. Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA. When you visit the site, the hosting provider automatically processes technical access data (IP address, date and time of the request, browser user agent, requested URL) in server logs. This is technically necessary to deliver the website and to ensure its security and stability (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is deleted after a short period and is not merged with other data sources.

5. Web analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics (Vercel Inc., 340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA) to understand how many people visit this website and which pages they view. This service is cookieless: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, and does not track you across websites. Visits are counted using an anonymized identifier derived from the incoming request that is invalidated after a short period, so individual visitors cannot be identified or re-recognized over time. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in measuring and improving our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

6. Advertising measurement (Meta Pixel, Google Ads)

While we run advertising campaigns, this website uses the Meta Pixel of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland (for visitors outside the EU: Meta Platforms Inc., USA). The pixel sets cookies (such as _fbp) and transmits to Meta that this site was visited and whether an inquiry was sent, so we can measure which ads work and Meta can attribute conversions to ad clicks. Meta may link this information to your Meta account if you have one. Details are in Meta’s privacy policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy. The legal basis is consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) where required; you can object to interest-based advertising at facebook.com/adpreferences or block the pixel with common content blockers. The pixel is only active while we run paid campaigns.

For the same purpose we use the Google Ads tag (gtag.js) of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. It sets cookies (such as _gcl_au) and reports to Google that this site was visited and whether an inquiry was sent, so conversions can be attributed to Google ad clicks. Details are in Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy; you can manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. This tag is also only active while we run paid campaigns.

7. Recipients of data

We share personal data only with service providers who support us in operating this website (hosting, database storage, email delivery), each bound by a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. We do not sell personal data. As we are located in the USA, data you submit is processed there. Where the GDPR applies, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or EU standard contractual clauses.

8. Storage period

We store personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by statutory retention obligations. Afterwards the data is deleted.
